What to Expect

iTero means no more uncomfortable or messy impressions! And, it is fast - only 5 minutes for the whole process!

Tooth movement can affect the health of your teeth & gums, underlying bone structure, and change your facial profile. At Salem Orthodontics, we use a state-of-the-art and very safe Ultra Low Dose 3D imaging machine. Our doctors can see a vast amount of detailed anatomical information that cannot be achieved with the standard 2D machines that most dental offices use. This means a safer and more accurate outcome for your case.

Anything Else?

During the impression process, you can breathe or swallow as you normally would. You can even pause during the process if you need to sneeze or just want to ask a question. The scanner gives us a 3D model of your mouth that can be used for your dental services including the Invisalign® Outcome Simulator to show you what your new smile might look like.
