Your initial complimentary consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam by Dr Salem and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs, how long it will take, and estimate how much it will cost. By the end of your appointment you should have gathered enough information to enable you to make an objective decision about your orthodontic treatment.
RECORDS APPOINTMENT
Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, intra-oral scan/photos of the patient’s face and teeth, and X-rays. This information is used by Dr Salem to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.
REGULAR APPOINTMENTS
After the Records Appointment, we’ll be ready to schedule the appointment to get the new appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) placed. Getting appliances placed usually takes about an hour. You’ll then see us at regular intervals four to eight weeks apart for an adjustment, which takes about 20-30 minutes.
Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
